Stands for Contract Line Item Number and represents the basic division of a USACE contract. Each CLIN is assigned a dollar amount and the contractor must create activities for each CLIN such that the sum of the dollar amount of all the activities assigned to a CLIN equals the dollar amount of the CLIN.
